COME AND WALK IN BEAUTIFUL COOKHAM
INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Cookham Spring Fun March website. In 2007, 80 walkers raised over £11,000 for the Parapet Breast Unit in Windsor. Despite more rain than we would have liked, it was a great day and we have had many requests do it all again.
We have set the date to 4th May 2009 which coincides with the last day of the Cookham Festival 2009. Walkers will start from Cookham Moor and, after 13.5 miles of beautiful countryside, they will arrive back for much needed refreshments and entertainment at the festival..
As before, all money raised from our walk will go to the Parapet Breast Unit Charitable Trust Fund in Windsor. The funds will help them to update their facilities with the aim of improving the quality of care and overall patient experience.
